A Cousin Day Preparation

Once Lilly realizes her cousins are going to help themselves to all of her toys, she frantically starts handing her favorites to Mommy for safe keeping. Here's the pile up.

A Cousin Day

We had Emily & Madeline over. The girls had a great time together. They made chocolate chip cookies and pretty beaded bracelets. The bracelets were really hard to tie together. Suddenly, our beads would go flying everywhere. After a little frustration, they were all completed and we were ready to take a picture. We placed the newest one on Maddy because the glue was still drying and we figured her tiny wrist would prevent it from stretching too much. Well, we were all horrified when she suddenly yanked it off ferocioulsy and beads rained down on us. Oh well.

Tiffany drops by for some fun.

Tiffany, Lilly & I walked to the park by our house. It was beautiful out but it was hot in the sun. To convince Lilly to stay in the shade, we made up a catch game through the tree with the soccer ball. Lilly thought it was great and we all stayed nice n cool.

Look at that face!

Lilly & Daddy jam out together on their harmonicas..."Wow" is all Mommy can say.

Steve taught Lilly how to play her harmonica and she loves it. She even tried to play it during sacrament (yikes!). After church, Lilly was sad that Mommy had to stay. Daddy tried to distract her by asking her to play him a song. Steve said it was so cute cause she would blow a few notes and then whimper and she kept repeating this cycle. She really was playing the blues.

Halloween!

We spent Halloween with my parents in Arizona. Lilly was a little grumpy on the trip. At first, she would not let us put her costume on. But, she got excited to see the trick-o-treaters at the door and soon we dressed her up as Tinker Bell and pushed her around the neighborhood. She had her first lollipop and she loved it!

Scout's 3rd birthday party!

Lilly has a new little friend named Scout and so we were invited to the "green" birthday party. The most impressive thing is that the gorgeous cake was made from scratch by her mom Anna. Wow!! Lilly had a great time :)

Life is good with Lilly's new stroller!

We recently had a play date with Emily & Janica (see the Johnson's blog to right for pics). We took them to the park and to see Alexis Perles. It was a lot of fun to see the toddlers together. Emily brought her baby doll stroller to the park and it was all the rage with the youngsters. Yes, a few fights were started over that stroller (mainly with the older toddlers at the park). One little girl would even take it down the slides just so she didn't have to give it up.

Anyhow, now Lilly is the proud owner of her own baby doll stroller. She loves it!! She pushes it in circles around the kitchen island at supersonic speeds. She goes around the house collecting things in it too!

Lilly and her kitten!

Lilly and her cat go everywhere together. Wily is only 8wks old but already is a loyal companion. He meows when he hears Lilly crying. He forgives Lilly when she picks him up by his tail and continues to follow her around the house :).
