12 days old!!

Milo is doing great! He sleeps good and is not too fussy. A lot of people told us the second child is always easier and it seems true! Anyhow, we took him to the doctor today and he is almost back up to his birth weight. The doctor said he's doing great and his gasiness is nothing to be concerned about. We just have a gassy little boy.

Lilly tells us she loves him. She is a good little helper. At first, it was hard for her though. She stole his binkies and wouldn't give them back. She also just completely stopped potty training. After a visit from Grandma she was back to her old self. She tells us "Milo will get big too." It seems comforting for her to remember this. She also tells us, "When I was a newborn; When I was born: When I had a binkie.." Perhaps she is trying to remind us that she is every bit as cute as the new baby. It works! We certainly do think she is super cute.

Milo Enoch Drury

Here he is: our new little prince. He was born on 10-10-10 at 1055. You would think that would have been a popular day in L&D but things were relatively quiet and we were the only scheduled c section that morning. Milo Enoch came on schedule and weighed a total of 7lb 3oz. He measured 20.75 inches. He looks similar to our newborn Lilly but has very light skin and almost no hair. He actually looks a lot like his father to me.

Anyhow, Steve and Lilly were my loyal visitors. They rolled in each day bringing mommy and the baby special treats like cookies and binkies. They looked a little like vagabonds and I could tell each passing day without mommy got a littler harder on them. Lilly's hair was dishevelled and her clothes were stained and a little mismatched. It was cute though. Steve was awesome through everything and did a great job taking care of his family.

Which Princess pic do you like best?

Disneyland!!

We just bought annual passes to Disneyland and went with Alissa & Olivia. The two girls love each other so much! They danced around together and held hands. The truth is: they could have been anywhere and would have been just as happy because they were together.

I was very excited because they let me go on Pirates of the Carribbean even though I am 8 months pregnant. I didn't even think about how scary it would be for Lilly though. I never noticed how dark it was until she was with me whispering, "Let's get out of here Mommy." We felt guilty taking our toddlers on such a dark ride, so, next we went on
Winnie the Pooh. The girls loved it! Lilly kept saying proudly, "I wasn't even scared."

A New Helmet

Steve bought Lilly her first helmet. It is purple with Abby Caddaby on it. Anyhow, she loves it! The next day she woke up and put it on first thing. She wore it through the whole Sesame Street episode. It was a good day to practice on her tricycle at the park. These are the pictures from there.

A Cousin Day Preparation

Once Lilly realizes her cousins are going to help themselves to all of her toys, she frantically starts handing her favorites to Mommy for safe keeping. Here's the pile up.

A Cousin Day

We had Emily & Madeline over. The girls had a great time together. They made chocolate chip cookies and pretty beaded bracelets. The bracelets were really hard to tie together. Suddenly, our beads would go flying everywhere. After a little frustration, they were all completed and we were ready to take a picture. We placed the newest one on Maddy because the glue was still drying and we figured her tiny wrist would prevent it from stretching too much. Well, we were all horrified when she suddenly yanked it off ferocioulsy and beads rained down on us. Oh well.

Tiffany drops by for some fun.

Tiffany, Lilly & I walked to the park by our house. It was beautiful out but it was hot in the sun. To convince Lilly to stay in the shade, we made up a catch game through the tree with the soccer ball. Lilly thought it was great and we all stayed nice n cool.

Look at that face!

Lilly & Daddy jam out together on their harmonicas..."Wow" is all Mommy can say.

Steve taught Lilly how to play her harmonica and she loves it. She even tried to play it during sacrament (yikes!). After church, Lilly was sad that Mommy had to stay. Daddy tried to distract her by asking her to play him a song. Steve said it was so cute cause she would blow a few notes and then whimper and she kept repeating this cycle. She really was playing the blues.
